v1.42.4 — Released — 2026-10-22 (UTC)

## Changes

- Feature: Animated images in the artwork picker now show download progress and file size. Images that fail to load display an error icon.

- Feature: Added “Refresh” to “Online search” in the artwork picker to rerun the current search and retry failed image loads.
- Fix: Fixed “Controller icon theme” applying a selection to the wrong controller type. The selected theme now applies to the active controller, including PlayStation icons on an XBOX controller and vice versa.
