Reduced Startup CPU Usage and Achievement Icon Preload
Performance
- Improved startup smoothness on some PCs with NVIDIA GPUs, reducing stuttering while the Home background fades in and lowering CPU usage during startup. Configuration is applied automatically on the first launch and takes effect after restarting the app.
- Optimized Steam and GOG achievement notifications: achievement changes are monitored only while games are running, reducing CPU overhead at app startup and background resource usage.
- Added shader caching for Ammonis’s own interface and on-demand compilation of its background effect shaders, reducing compilation overhead when the app starts.

- Added a “Preload icons for achievement notifications” action to the Achievements card on Home for Steam and GOG games with achievement notifications enabled.

Home
- Redesigned game source tags to prioritize platform logos and wordmarks. Added “Colored tag” and “Colored icon-only tag” options under “Game source style” in the Home layout editor.
